Because Everyone Deserves a Home

Housing is a Human Right

Dignity 4 All

We want to live in a community where all people can afford a safe and decent home for their families, a community where seniors know they have a place to live, a community where the most vulnerable among us need not live in tents. We can make this happen. It’s our community.

The role of Faith Partners for Housing is to connect people who have resources – land, buildings, homes, expertise – with organizations who can effectively transform those resources into housing affordable for low-income families, singles, and seniors.

We do this primarily through Home Sharing. If you have ever had a roommate or hosted an exchange student or helped out a friend/co-worker by having them stay with you for a while, then you have already shared your home before. It used to be called 'taking in a boarder'. The new term is called 'boommates' and it is not a new or radical concept, it just makes sense.

Clark County, WA is one of the most desirable places to live and with that comes higher and higher cost of living expenses. HomeSharing can help solve many aspects of housing insecurity, as well as the loneliness epidemic and help folks, especially seniors stay in their beloved homes longer by living with another person.

There are vacant spare bedrooms all throughout Clark County. We can choose to use these resources and increase our own income, be self-reliant and purposeful in selecting a person to come live in that spare bedroom. The renter provides you income, company and can help with housing upkeep.

Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Statement

FP4H and the Home Share Program of Clark County are equal opportunity employer and service providers. We are committed to the values of equity, diversity and inclusion in order to achieve and sustain excellence. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, age, religion, gender, sexual identity, national origin, disability, or family status.

FP4H was started in 2015 by a group of individuals who saw a need for churches, faith-based organizations and those with no faith affiliation to all come together as one to address local housing affordability.
